I hold the belief that art should be fulfilling of it's true purposes. Art is created from life. It is a derivative of life. Therefore I hold the belief that art should show and depict the world around it in a truthful manner. Whichever style or format it may be presented in, it must always be truthful.
If the subject of a piece art is then disliked by its receiver, for whatever the reason being, I ask you to contemplate; what does this say of the world around it in which it is being received?
A world which is in fact, ultimately responsible for the creation of what?
I think Laura Hinshaw's art is rad.
The level of improvement in her work in such a short amount of time is quite exceptional. ch ch ch ch ch ch check it owwt
