Work from Foundation Diploma at Northumberland College:

Liberation - Acrylics, spray paint on canvas. (???x???)

This was the first large scale canvas I painted. It liberated me creatively, it opened up a pandoras box in my mind. It was this painting that made me realize I could paint.

Triptych - Acrylics, spray paint on canvas. (???x???)

This was the the concluding piece for my 'final major project' on my foundation diploma. It was the first canvas which I actively thought about space in a contextual way. I get a much looser, calmer feel from it than most of my other paintings.

Commis1 - Acrylics, spray paint, on canvas. (???x???)

This was a piece I painted when I was doing a foundation diploma at college. This was intended as a commission for Northumberland college, which never happened..

Commis2 - Acrylics, spray paint on canvas. (???x???)

This was part two of the commission by Northumberland college.

WAR - Acrylics, oil, spray paint, sharpie marker on canvas. (???x???)

This is the most valuable painting I've done in my view. It was done whilst on my foundation diploma, over the course of about a month and a half. Every time I look at it, the relaxation and therapeutic feeling of producing it comes back to me.

The paintings on the far wall are my own. These are some of the most recent of my work. I will post photo's of the paintings individually soon, along with all the dates of the work shown.

Comments and criticism much welcomed.

Jamie.
